Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Director oversees the total operation of our building, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and sanitary environment for residents and staff, adhering strictly to federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, CMS, Life Safety Codes). Key roles include managing preventive maintenance, supervising maintenance staff, managing budgets, and performing repairs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Preventive Maintenance: Develops and implements programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
Safety & Compliance: Ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and CMS regulations, including fire safety, SDS (Safety Data Sheets), and emergency generator testing.
Facility Management: Conducts regular inspections of the building, grounds, and emergency equipment.
Staff Leadership: Supervises maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
Budgeting: Manages maintenance budgets, orders supplies, and coordinates with external contractors for repairs.
Emergency Preparedness: Maintains fire suppression systems and conducts fire drills.
Managing employees in the following departments Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry.
It would be great if you had the following qualifications, but Hill Top will train the right candidate.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Leadership: Experience in staff management and budget oversight.
Knowledge: Understanding of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and other safety codes
